How to use them in class

  1. 01

    Watch it being drawn

    Play the clip of the picture on the board. A hand draws the outlines first, then colours it in, so the class sees the parts appear one at a time.

  2. 02

    Print and colour

    Open the sheet and print it at “fit to page” on Letter or A4. The lines are pure black on white, so they copy cleanly on a school photocopier too.

  3. 03

    Name the parts

    The sheets have no labels on purpose: ask the class to write the names in, or to number the stages of a life cycle in order.
