The prompt behind the picture
Hand-drawn side view of one long straight wooden plank leaning from the ground up onto the top of a flat raised platform, making a gentle ramp. One person in simple clothes pushes one brown cardboard box up the ramp, the box halfway up the plank. Only these things: the ground line, the platform, the plank ramp, the person and the box. Nothing else in the picture, plenty of empty space above. Coloured pencil and watercolour marker, clean black ink outlines, warm off-white paper, no text. The picture came from an image model; any finished illustration works the same way, including one you drew. Use the prompt as a starting point for your own topic.
How this clip was made
The picture above was made with an image model from the prompt above; WhiteboardAnimation.ai then drew it, stroke by stroke, as the clip at the top of this page.

Notes from making it
The narration was checked against Britannica’s article on the inclined plane.
Inclined plane, step by step
A script to read over it, timed to the drawing: the lines go down first and the colour arrives on the last beat.
- 0:00Line artAn inclined plane is a simple machine. It is just a flat surface that slopes, like this ramp.
- 0:06To get the heavy box onto the platform, you could lift it straight up, but you would need a force as big as its whole weight.
- 0:11ColourPushing it up the ramp takes less force than that. You push it a longer way, but each push is easier.
- 0:17A steeper ramp is shorter, but the push gets closer to the box’s full weight. Screws and bolts use this same idea.
Where this inclined plane animation fits
Use it in a physics lesson on simple machines, before testing toy cars on ramps of different heights, or as a short clip in a science video for kids. The same process turns your own diagram into a clip.
