Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This Privacy Policy explains how Stack Craft LLC, a United States company (“we”, “us”), handles personal information when you use WhiteboardAnimation.ai (the “Service”). It applies together with our Terms of Service. For questions or requests, write to hello@celados.com.

1. What we collect

  • Account information. You sign in with Google. We receive the basic profile Google shares with us, such as your name, email address and profile picture, and we create an account for you. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Your content. The pictures you upload, the drawings generated from them, their settings, and the API keys you create.
  • Billing information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep the records we need to run your plan: your plan, purchases, payment status and a ledger of credits.
  • Usage and diagnostics. Product analytics events, such as signing in, choosing an image (its size and type, not its content or file name), requesting a drawing and whether it succeeded, exporting a video (format and size choices), opening billing dialogs and starting or returning from checkout, and page views. Events are tied to an internal account ID, not to your email or name. Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type reaches our hosting and analytics providers with your requests. We also collect error reports so we can fix bugs.
  • Messages. What you send us when you email hello@celados.com.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the Service: sign you in, process your pictures into drawings, store your library and take payment.
  • To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.
  • To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
  • To handle billing, refunds, support and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your pictures or drawings for advertising. We process your content only to provide the Service to you, as described in the Terms.

3. Who processes it for us

We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for that purpose:

  • Google for sign-in.
  • Cloudflare for hosting, and for storing your uploaded pictures and generated drawings on Cloudflare R2.
  • Convex for our application database and backend.
  • Stripe for payments, subscriptions and invoices.
  • Sentry for error monitoring.
  • Analytics. Browser analytics events are sent to our own analytics pipeline. Events are also forwarded to PostHog, and our servers send job events (a drawing was submitted, succeeded or failed) to PostHog directly. Session replay and automatic capture of page content are off.

Other members of a workspace can see the drawings in that workspace. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data until you are told otherwise.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and cookies and browser storage for analytics and to remember preferences such as your language. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. How long we keep it

  • Your drawings and uploaded pictures are kept until you delete them or delete your account. On the Free plan, newer drawings are hidden from your library 7 days after you last edit them; they are hidden, not deleted, and paid plans keep everything in the library. Drawings created before paid plans launched are kept.
  • Credit and payment records are kept as needed for accounting, tax and legal reasons.
  • Analytics, error and server logs are kept for as long as we need them for the purposes above.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in Account settings. You must first hand over any workspaces you own and cancel any paid plan. Deleting your account:

  • deletes your drawings, the pictures you uploaded, the drawn results and your API keys;
  • keeps credit records for accounting, without your name or email;
  • leaves drawings you made in team workspaces with that team, no longer linked to you.

Videos you exported are on your own device and are not affected. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a short period until it is overwritten.

7. Your choices and rights

You can access and correct your basic account details through Google, and delete your account as described above. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask us for access to, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, to object to or limit some processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To make a request, email hello@celados.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from you. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process information to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), for our legitimate interests (security, analytics and improving the Service), to meet legal obligations, and with your consent where required.

8. International transfers

We and our providers operate in the United States and other countries. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from yours.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, such as encrypted connections and access controls. No service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email hello@celados.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version, and we will give notice of material changes in the Service or by email.
